Yorck Project

- The original piece of art is of course PD. However, when taken from a collection, facts need to be known about that so they can be assessed. Hard documentation, such as a link to the official source where it explicitly states that the collection was released under the GFDL is really what is needed. - I received notice from the publisher. I will translate it for the permission page. Basically we're free to use single files from any Yorck-Collection available in Wikipedia-Commons under PD/GFDL (i.e. any and theoretically all), but we are not allowed to transfer the complete library into a (hypothetical) Citizendium-Commons-databank/library. —Arne Eickenberg 08:14, 24 July 2007 (CDT)
