Summary

A scan of an engraving by Mr. Kilbert and "Tarbell" (possibly Edmund N. Tarbell) of a river scene, Monongahela River, Pittsburgh, Pennsyvania. Shows steam ship "General Knox", wharf operations, a steel superstructure bridge, and numerous smoke stacks. Appeared in the Feb 21, 1857 edition of Ballou's Pictorial.
