I've extensively rewritten and expanded [[History of television]], so this section here is now redundant; I would suggest this article survey television at a broader level, and  not repeat what's discussed much more fully elsewhere. [[User:Russell Potter|Russell Potter]] 06:34, 19 June 2007 (CDT)
