#REDIRECTPolymer
Polymers are molecules of a large size, on average any molecule larger than 1000 Dalton is considered a polymer. Polymers come in many shapes and sizes. Alll well known are plastic, nylon and kevlar but also all larger biological molecules belong to the group of polymers. That group consists of for instance DNA, RNA, proteins, enzymes and starch. For many polymers associated with commercial plastics as used in daily life are only those like plastic bags, car utensils and protective clothing. Fewer people however are aware of the biological functions of polymers. For that (non scientific) reason the ---- used this diversion --------- to explain both sides of the spectrum and do both right in all their (chemical and physical) features.
