Richard: in this sentence: "All the states ratified but as a condition, the Anti-Federalists insisted on a Bill of Rights, which met most of their objections", I don't think the instance of "Bill of Rights" should be capitalized - they were not asking for The Bill of Rights, but rather a bill of rights... which became the Bill of Rights :) However, I'll defer to you as the original author. I edited the Farrand reference to use the online Library of Congress edition, as I think it is more credible than any other source. Feel free to change it back if there is disagreement. The following sentence seems to be a bit overstated: "The presidency was not controversial." That statement ignores whole days of debate at the convention and the profound concerns and fears many delegates had about the establishment of the Executive and its specifics. |

CZ live?
