The Queens is the largest and the second most peopled of the five borough of New York City, with an aera of 178.28 square miles (461.7 km²). It's located in the east of the city, in the north of Brooklyn, and in the east of the island of Manhattan. The borough of Queens is besides coterminous with Queens County in the New York State. It is mostly known by the people who don't live in the city for being home to the two inner city airports of New York, JFK and LaGuardia. The borough is also home to several sports events such as the US Open Grand Slam tennis tournament, played every year in the USTA National Tennis Center, and the games of the New York Mets, one of the two main baseball teams of the city.
