|description  = Text on the back cover of a Richard Condon novel
|author      = unknown but scanned by Hayford Peirce
|copyright    = unknown but almost certainly Random House, the book's publisher
|source      = back cover of a book owned by Hayford Peirce and scanned by him
|date-created = scanned on 26 July 2010, from a book published by Random House in 1964
|pub-country  = United States, both for the book publication and the scanning
|notes        = This scan is from the back cover of "An Infinity of Mirrors" by Richard Condon, a Random House hardback published in 1964. The back cover is presumably copyrighted by Random House, but as it is descriptive publicity for the book in question, it is presumably usable here under the Fair Use doctrine. I scanned it myself on 26 July 2010. It is to illustrate the subject of a Citizendium article in a way that words alone could not convey. It is believed that the use of low-resolution images of book covers to illustrate an article discussing the book in question qualifies as Fair Use under United States copyright law. Other use of this image, however, on Citizendium or elsewhere, might be considered copyright infringement.
