Georgette Heyer was extremely prolific, publishing at least 58 novels<ref name=Omission /> beginning at the age of nineteen until her death in 1974 (she was then 71).


A few of Heyer's works are now in the public domain and have been made into freely downloadable ebooks at Project Gutenberg<ref name=Gutenberg />.  Many works are available to borrow from public libraries, and the ebook version may be freely borrowable at OverDrive<ref name=OverDrive />.  Most of her novels have been reprinted and are available as paperbacks and/or ebooks from bookstores.
