Tokushima prefecture (徳島県 Tokushima-ken) is an area of Japan located on the island of Shikoku. Its population was 805,000 in 2006.[1]
Tokushima prefecture shares its name with its own capital city, Tokushima (徳島市 Tokushima-shi).
