== Emotional Abuse - perhaps worth adding in Psychological ==
Hi,
This article does read fairly well but is there a way that it can also include Psychological Abuse as well?  Emotional abuse is a form of psychological abuse.  Emotion is part of the human psyche and probably should be reflected as such.
I may be demonstrating my forgetfulness, but is there a way as well to perhaps include the varieties of helping services and agencies that can assist in this troubling issue?
Additionally, it may be worth linking into the Human Rights charter and / or the Children's charter.  I can find the links for you if you like.
I work in Child Protection in Victoria, Australia and have a welfare qualification as well as a teaching degree (if that helps add perspective to what I'm saying).
Oh and if this finds it way as an actual edit, it's because I wasn't able to work out how to make a simple 'talk' or 'suggestion' comment (don't tell people I've got an IT specialisation - that's how bad rumours start!).
Regards, Megan.

Can't understand sentence

I know this article is still a rough draft, but I can't understand this sentence for some reason:

Generally, it the active thread in the long, unfortunate saga of maltreatment and neglect of children. Particularly, the part that says "it the active thread in the long." Did you mean to say something else? Maybe I'm just reading it wrong, or haven't seen those words used in that context...

Emotional Abuse - perhaps worth adding in Psychological

Hi, This article does read fairly well but is there a way that it can also include Psychological Abuse as well?
