Baselland Transport AG (BLT) is a public transport company that operates buses and trams in Basel and its surroundings.
BLT was formed in 1974 by the merger of Birsigtalbahn (BTB), Birseckbahn (BEB), Trambahn Basel-Aesch (TBA) and Basellandschaftliche Ueberlandbahn (BueB).
BLT now operates three tram lines (numbers 10, 11 and 17) of Basel tram network and about fifteen bus lines.
Tram line 10 is unique, because it crosses an international border and goes to Leymen in France. It is one of only two international tram services in the world.
