The University of Calgary is a public university located in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Originally a satellite campus of the University of Alberta, the University of Calgary was established as a separate entity in 1966. Today, the "U of C" offers over 100 programs to some 28,000 students per year.
Athletics
The University of Calgary is represented by 12 varsity teams that compete under the organization of Canadian Interuniversity Sport (CIS). Both men and women's teams are called the "Dinos", and together they have won a combined 34 CIS national titles.
