I've labelled this a stub (as I did with World War I, Australia) because it really is a very slight overview, in need of a great deal of filling out. Detail, detail, detail!

Moving forward
I could start some things about current Australian military, although a native really should do that; I am fairly familiar with the Gallipoli campaign, the Australian forces in the Vietnam War, and Australian signals intelligence in WWII.
