White Argentine or White Argentinian is an umbrella term used for ethnicities (colectividades in Spanish) of predominantly European/Middle Eastern descent. It is most frequently used in English language sources, often in a racist context. The Spanish equivalent (argentino blanco) is neither an official term, nor currently used in common speech. Sometimes Criollo is used, but this was originally only used for unmixed descendants of Spaniards, born in the Americas.
