Treaty over the Panama Canal between the United States and the republic of Panama.
Expanded the width of the canal zone to 10 miles.
Also transferred the islands of Perico, Noas, Culebra, and Flamenco to the U.S. These islands are located about two miles from Panama City in the Panama Bay. The islands were owned by the Panama Railroad Company and the Pacific Mail Company which built a coaling station, laundry, store house, and repair shop on the island of Noas. The other islands were uninhabited.[1]
