Bio
I was born in Redlands, CA. Lived in Santa Moncia, CA, New York, NY, Madrid, Taipei, Utrecht and Sarasota, FL.
Interests & Work
I have a B.A. in Creative Writing from the University of Redlands and an M.F.A. in writing from Columbia University. I am a poet and translator of poetry from the Chinese and Spanish. I am an amateur linguist, and can embarrass myself in Mandarin Chinsese, Spanish, French and Japanese. When I taught EFL I picked up "hello" or some such in about 30 languages. I am a travel editor for publications and websites ranging from Florida to Tennessee, Colorado and Texas.
