Linguistics and specific languages
I took the plunge and recently decided to move the articles on specific languages, such as Hindi, from the list of linguistics 'top' articles and place them here. This is because I think we have to distinguish between linguistics - the study of the system of language itself - and the grammar, history and culture of specific languages and their speakers, which is what the pages I've moved deal with. Having said that, I think that if someone starts to work on such a page, it could go back to the 'top' articles category. The pages are still listed on High priority articles for pilot.
