Alexander Emmanuel "A-Rod" Rodriguez (born July 27, 1975) is an American former professional baseball player who was active for 22 seasons in the Major League Baseball (MLB). He has played for the Seattle Mariners and Texas Rangers at the shortstop position but, for most of his career, he was the third baseman for the New York Yankees.
