TEC is a public transport company in Wallonia (French-speaking part of Belgium). TEC was founded in 1991, when the nation-wide public transport company Nationale Maatschappij van Buurtspoorwegen, NMVB (Dutch name)/ Société Nationale des Chemins de Fer Vicinaux, SNCV (French name) was split in two parts as a part of country federalisation programme. Thus the Dutch part became De Lijn and Wallon part became TEC.
TEC services include urban and suburban bus services in whole Wallonia and light rail in Charleroi.
