Charles Chandler Krulak (1942-) is a retired general of the United States Marine Corps, and was the 31st Commandant of the Marine Corps, from 1995 to 1999. He is the son of lieutenant general (retired) Victor Krulak, USMC. He had combat company commands in the Vietnam War, and a variety of higher-level command and staff assignments, especially in logistics.
Some of his legacies include the "Crucible" experiential challenge in recruit training, variations of which have been adopted by all of the U.S. military services.
