Take a look at anime. I rewrote it, and if you think the rewrite is poverty-stricken, take a look at what it replaced. So we can rewrite anime also, with a fundamentally different structure than the manga article, this time stressing themes and interpretations and centering on discussing anime genres, aesthetics, and stylistics rather than its history. Or something like that. Let me know what you think. Timothy Perper 01:12, 11 October 2008 (UTC)

Welcome!

Citizendium Getting Started
Quick Start | About us | Help system | Start a new article | For Wikipedians

Welcome to the Citizendium! We hope you will contribute boldly and well. Here are pointers for a quick start. You'll probably want to know how to get started as an author. Just look at CZ:Getting Started for other helpful "startup" links, and CZ:Home for the top menu of community pages. Be sure to stay abreast of events via the Citizendium-L (broadcast) mailing list (do join!) and the blog. Please also join the workgroup mailing list(s) that concern your particular interests. You can test out editing in the sandbox if you'd like. If you need help to get going, the forums is one option. That's also where we discuss policy and proposals. You can ask any constable for help, too. Me, for instance! Just put a note on their "talk" page. Again, welcome and have fun! D. Matt Innis 14:39, 24 September 2008 (CDT)

TP Sandboxes

Hi, Bill. I've created a set of Sandboxes for revising the manga articles and other stuff. They're listed at User:Timothy Perper/SDBXIndex with links and brief descriptions. The mechanics are just like they were at Wiki. Timothy Perper 10:46, 27 September 2008 (CDT)

Brain and music

Hi Bill, thanks for the comment, and feel free to contribute to these articles - they're all open. Daniel Mietchen 12:46, 29 September 2008 (CDT)

Matt began a page on manga

It's here. User:Matthew Allen Thorn/manga sandbox He has some comments about what he wants to do on User:Timothy Perper/SandboxHistManga. Timothy Perper 07:01, 30 September 2008 (CDT)

Images

Bill, do you know how to download images to CZ, assuming that we can do so without violating copyright? My scheme -- which I'm going to ask other people about first -- is to scan in the covers of some manga (which typically are not protected by copyright) and include them in the manga article. That article, BTW, is now much closer to being finished, on User:Timothy Perper/SandboxHistManga -- so if you'd like to read it and comment, that'd be most welcome. Thanks. Got yout cmt on images. I'll ask folks around here. Timothy Perper 09:00, 6 October 2008 (CDT)
I asked; no one knows. Feh. Timothy Perper 12:26, 9 October 2008 (CDT)

New Manga article is ready to go

I finished the draft of the new manga article, at User:Timothy Perper/SandboxHistManga. If you have time, can you read it and let me know what you think? If it's OK, I'll replace the old article in the next day or so. Thanks! Timothy Perper 12:26, 9 October 2008 (CDT)

I just copied and pasted the draft material to the new Manga and Manga/About this Article pages. I think it looks good. Comments welcome on the (new) manga talk page. Timothy Perper 07:23, 10 October 2008 (CDT)

Next! Anime
