Missouri:
I lived in a foreign country before living in Missouri. I selected that option and the 2-digit abbreviation entered is "FC." I get an error on review that reads, "Form MO-NRI: TP PY Line 2-b, St abbrev abbreviation is invalid for State Electronic Filing. You must use standard U.S. postal abbreviations."
Federal: Date became a resident: Is this when I originally became a resident? I entered 1990. However, I get an error on review that reads, "Date became a resident Should be a current year date."

Welcome to the Citizendium! We hope you will contribute boldly and well. Here are pointers for a quick start, and see Getting Started for other helpful "startup" links, our help system and CZ:Home for the top menu of community pages. You can test out editing in the sandbox if you'd like. If you need help to get going, the forum is one option. That's also where we discuss policy and proposals. You can ask any user or the editors for help, too. Just put a note on their "talk" page. Again, welcome and have fun! --Mike Johnson 13:25, 15 November 2006 (CST)

Bio

Nick, kindly do us the favor of adding a bio of about 50 words or so to your userpage. This is actually a requirement of everyone. Thanks! Stephen Ewen 01:39, 7 November 2007 (CST)

Redirect

Nick, is there a special reason why you created a redirect at Cost-benefit analyssi? I don't think that spelling (or rather: typos) like this should be redirected. --Peter Schmitt 12:44, 22 March 2010 (UTC)

I did make that typo when I initially searched for cost-benefit analysis. The text I mistakenly entered yielded no search terms, so I created the redirect assuming that others could make the same mistake but fail to catch their error (and by extension assuming that some folks are pretty darn unobservant). I'm not sure what issues other than space are considered when creating redirects, and I figured that space was a non-issue. I apologize if I am simply--and I'm assuming I am--misinformed. But out of curiosity, what's the reason for not redirecting typos? EDIT: I just considered two other potential reasons: One, of course we can't spend all our time creating redirects for typos; two, such redirects will devalue "What links here" pages. So, once again, apologies on my part. Nick Bagnall 14:48, 22 March 2010 (UTC)
No harm done. It is just a habit of mine to "clean up" if I happen to notice something. Such "misspelled" titles usually are the result of an mistake made when creating a page and left after a move correcting this mistake. In this case I noticed that it was created intentionally and therefore I asked before any action. My main reason is to keep the listings free of "wrong" titles. Moreover, wrong titles are valid links and shown blue, while a red link warns an Author that something may be not correct. --Peter Schmitt 17:12, 23 March 2010 (UTC)

Video games subgroup

Hi Nick. You have been particularly active in the video games articles, and therefore I would like to invite you to join the new Video Games Subgroup. If you would like to join simply add [[Category:Video Games Members|Bagnall, Nick]] to your user page. --Chris Key 11:18, 29 March 2010 (UTC)

Hi Nick, I notice you haven't been around for a while. The Video Games articles are picking up slowly, and we now have two approved articles: Doom (video game) and World of Warcraft. I'm also an Editor now, so can help get articles approved. Would love to have you back! --Chris Key 17:47, 23 July 2010 (UTC)
