Biography: Badan Barman holds BSc from Guwahati College securing 1st Class 14th position in 2003 and MLISc degree from Gauhati University with 1st Class 1st position in 2005, qualified UGC / NET and presently pursuing his PhD on 'Open Access Resources in Library and Information Science Education: a managerial approach' at Department of Library and Information Science, Gauhati University, Guwahati: 781014, Assam (India). He has more than 18 months of professional experience in the area of Library and Information Science and published more than 7 technical papers in the subject.
