I am currently a college student, born 1987 and residing in Houston, TX. I am working towards a masters degree in futures studies with a minor in sociology. My fields of interest include but are not limited to functional body modification, computer science, experimental biology, artificial intelligence, political freedom and justice, and progressive culture. I am a firm proponent of Ray Kurzweil's law of accelerating returns, and hope to make my contribution to the future of humanity.

I (sporadically) operate a blog reporting news articles important to futurism. See Networked Bacteria .

Welcome to the Citizendium! We hope you will contribute boldly and well. Here are pointers for a quick start, and see Getting Started for other helpful "startup" links, our help system and CZ:Home for the top menu of community pages. You can test out editing in the sandbox if you'd like. If you need help to get going, the forum is one option. That's also where we discuss policy and proposals. You can ask any user or the editors for help, too. Just put a note on their "talk" page. Again, welcome and have fun!
