Someone else will have to write the Miranda v. Arizona article

This article is not intended to discourage anyone from writing the article we need on Miranda v. Arizona, and I put the redirect to this article on that page merely to have something about that case until that article is created. That article should address the issues discussed in the opinion, including standard interrogation techniques (such as what it called "Mutt & Jeff", which we now call "good cop - bad cop"), the interplay between the 5th and 6th Amendments in the decision, and the earlier cases (especially Escobedo and maybe Gideon). I take no position on whether Dickerson should have an article of its own or simple a redirect to a discussion of it in the Miranda v. Arizona article. -- k kay shearin 00:54, 1 January 2008 (CST)
