The Prince Charles, Prince of Wales[1] (Charles Philip Arthur George; born 14th November 1948) is the eldest son of Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh. He has held the title of Prince of Wales since 1958, and is styled 'His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales', except in Scotland, where he is styled 'His Royal Highness The Prince Charles, Duke of Rothesay'. The title 'Duke of Cornwall' is often used for the Prince in relation to Cornwall.
Charles has been married to Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall since April 2005. His previous marriage to Diana, Princess of Wales ended with divorce in August 1996. From his first marriage he has two sons, Prince William and Prince Harry.
