These are some flickr images that could be used for the article (actually all the relevant images at flickr under creative commons license):
- USS Monitor Mockup @ Civil War Naval Museum
- USS Monitor Model @ City of NY Maritime Trade Exhibit
- Photo of USS Monitor crew @ Library of Congress
- USS Monitor Replica @ the Mariners Museum

- Could you help me with at least one? I don't know how to include Flickr.
- There is a drawing or two at the Naval Historical Center that I will include, which show cross-sectional views, especially of the parts of the ship, below the waterline and supporting the deck structures.
- I still am thinking of having an article on USS Monitor herself, so the really specific images, including the ones on the sea bottom, belong there. Howard C. Berkowitz 17:32, 8 July 2009 (UTC)
- For flickr images, all you have to do is go to upload, click "I'm not the copyright holder", click "this from ...permits reuse", click Flickr, & type in the name of the uploader from his/her profile page (usually diff from username), copy paste the name for the copyright holder or type in a larger organization, copy paste the url of he flickr page for the image @ source blank, put United States of America for the country, and select the appropriate creative commons license that is shown in the "Additional Information" table.
