I was delighted to see your improving the mining article; my expertise is more with military mines. Milt Beychok and I are the current Engineering Editors and would be glad to help in any way.

Since you mention blasting in mining engineering, I should point out that we just approved an article on explosives. It might be a reference to which your article can point, or you may want to start enhancing it with things specific to mining, or to start a blasting article. Howard C.
