Definition: on Jan. 6, 2021, a violent mob incited by President Donald Trump stormed the U.S. Capitol hoping to prevent the U.S. Congress from certifying electoral votes from the Nov. 2020 presidential election (in which Joe Biden was lawfully elected as the next president).
