Algonova (1969)

The Algonova is the final name of a single-hulled tanker built in 1968, that was scrapped in 2008.[1][2] Her final operator and owner was Algoma Tankers Limited, a subsidiary of Algoma Central. A new double-hulled tanker of the same name was commissioned later in 2008.2007.[3]
The Algonova was built to Lloyd's ice class 2.[2]
