Queen Camilla

Queen Camilla (1947–) is the wife of Charles III. Formerly Camilla Parker-Bowles (née Shand), she married Charles in 2005 and became the Duchess of Cornwall. Camilla became Queen as Charles' consort when he succeeded to the throne in September 2022, following the death of his mother Queen Elizabeth II. Camilla is popularly known throughout Britain by her first name only and has earned considerable respect through her efforts as a working royal, especially on behalf of health charities.
