Deleting articles...

Good to see that you're moving toward this. Is there any chance we can CZfy the template so it doesn't claim this is Wikipedia? Ori Redler 07:19, 26 January 2007 (CST)

Big Cleanup

Thanks for giving the Big Cleanup a try!

For purposes of adding workgroup categories, please stick to the workgroups that are listed at CZ:Discipline Workgroups. Also, use "Category:Needs Workgroup" (capitalization important) only if there are not any suitable workgroups for an article. If you think there needs to be another workgroup (which hasn't been created) in addition to one that you've placed an article into, then simply specify: cat_check = y ... And one last thing, please sign your name with four tildes, not three, so that the date you filled out the checklist is given. I'll add all this into the instructions. :-) --Larry Sanger 08:17, 9 March 2007 (CST)

Evidenced Based medicine

I can help here, and will be glad to. It's a good start to the article. Nancy Sculerati 06:55, 15 May 2007 (CDT)

Contraception (medical)

Supten, I have been the primary author of an article on the medical methods of contraception [1] It has just been nominated for approval by Gareth Leng. Could you kindly read it? As a physician, I encourage you to edit as needed. put your comments on the health page, if you support the nomination-please add your name to the template. If you believe that the article should not be approved, please remove the template for nomination. Obviously I hope that you support it, but I want to make it clear that you do have that option. Thanks, Nancy Sculerati 06:04, 17 May 2007 (CDT)

How long to get a simple typo fixed in the approved article?

Please look at the discussion at talk:contraception (medical methods) under the same heading that appears above this comment. A gross error such as this would not take months to fix on Wikipedia, but here it does. Michael Hardy 08:30, 16 September 2007 (CDT)

Thanks for volunteering to help with wikiconverting

Supten, thanks for volunteering to help wiki-convert submitted word-processor files. Your long experience will undoubtedly prove valuable. Looking forward to working with you. --Anthony.Sebastian (Talk) 21:42, 2 November 2007 (CDT)

Don't forget the December party!

Hi Supten--where you be? You usually come to the party early! Don't forget us! Aleta Curry 01:54, 5 December 2007 (CST)

Re 'wiki-converting'

Supten: Regarding your volunteering to 'wiki-convert' word-processor files from subscribers, please see: http://en.citizendium.org/wiki/CZ:Wiki-converting. For tracking, use section with your name as title. --Anthony.Sebastian 19:51, 18 December 2007 (CST)

See what I did to OpenClips at Clinical decision support system. Creating references is fairly easy if you use the bookmarklet at http://medinformatics.uthscsa.edu/wiki/diberri.shtml for the Diberri tool. - Robert Badgett 08:08, 24 January 2008 (CST)

Hi Supten! It's a party!

Hope the new gig's going well. Just trying to drag coax you over to the February party Be well! Aleta Curry 21:14, 5 February 2008 (CST)

Proposal moved

Hi Supten, see CZ:Proposals/Ad_hoc, the proposal you're driving has moved. --Larry Sanger 16:11, 13 February 2008 (CST)

Hi Supten, please see the discussion at the bottom of your (moved) proposal. There are some people who are developing CZ:Recipes, and while you may remain in the driver's seat, I think it would make sense for you to relinquish the responsibility to whoever seems to be doing the most work. :-) But this is up to you; as long as you do keep things moving along, I'm happy. Notice that I set a new deadline for the driver: Feb. 26, make sure that CZ:Recipes is well developed. --Larry Sanger 16:42, 19 February 2008 (CST)

Hi Supten, I have just written up some ideas at http://en.citizendium.org/wiki/CZ:Proposals/Recipes_Subpage_and_Accompanying_Usage_Policy#Next_steps.3F in the section called Next Steps about what I think we need to do next. I'm so tired of trying to keep track of where all these Proposals and discussions are going on I can't be bothered to sort them all out and find the proper place for my ideas. Anyway, here is some concrete stuff to consider. Best! Hayford Peirce 11:09, 1 March 2008 (CST)

It's Wednesday in India!

Of course, it's like, three in the morning, so I hope you're asleep! But join us when you wake.

Supten's needed at the party!

Articles translation

I have two articles, written in French, about Artificial Intelligence and expert system. But I don't find translators. Those I contacted (http://en.citizendium.org/wiki/CZ:International) because they seemed good for the theme have declined or did not respond. Help ! Jean-Philippe de Lespinay 03:09, 21 March 2008 (CDT)

Recipes proposal

Based on the discussion at CZ:Proposals/Recipes Subpage and Accompanying Usage_Policy, I changed the proposal record on CZ:Proposals/Ad hoc#Recipes Subpage and Accompanying Usage Policy to say that the proposal is waiting to be reviewed by the Council, and I set a target date of 15 May. Do change it if you don't agree; as the driver, you're the boss! -- Jitse Niesen 08:47, 26 April 2008 (CDT)

Editorial Council membership

Supten, about 3-4 weeks ago, you sent me an email asking if I wanted to serve on the Editorial Council and I declined.

If you will still have me as either an editor or author member, I have changed my mind and would be willing to serve. Please let me know. Regards, - Milton Beychok 23:02, 3 May 2008 (CDT)

Supten, I would really appreciate a response one way or the other to my above comment. Thanks, - Milton Beychok 03:36, 9 May 2008 (CDT)

Rise and shine, Supten!

It's time to tell us all about your favourite holiday over at the May party! Aleta Curry 20:02, 6 May 2008 (CDT)

My EC proposals

Supten, I have two proposals for the Editorial Council. I am the driver for both of them. I can also be the sponsor of the EC resolutions, but being newly elected to the EC, I have no idea about how to do this. Could help move these two proposals to the resolution stage or point me to relevent pages? Do I send an email note asking for co-sponsors first? I am lost. David E. Volk 13:55, 14 May 2008 (CDT)

Editorial Council Membership

Hi there. Sorry I didn't response to your message right away. I was preparing for my wedding and had very little time for Citizendium :) --Christian Liem 10:25, 19 June 2008 (CDT)

Thank you :) --Christian Liem 21:10, 20 June 2008 (CDT)

PLoS article

Hi Supten, I'm not ready for the write-a-thon yet but if you have time, please give another brush to CZ:Biology Week/PLoS. I will go over it again tonight. Thanks! -- Daniel Mietchen 06:25, 2 July 2008 (CDT)

July party

Hi Supten! Thanks awfully for getting things going at the Write-a-Thon. We've had a time of it here--whew! Aleta Curry 20:34, 2 July 2008 (CDT)

Biology Week planning

Hi Supten, I think it is time to compile a list of things that still need work before CZ:Biology Week takes place. Some of these points are mentioned on the week's page as well as on the pending decisions page (some of these things are now described as being "before the Editorial Council" but not listed there; please enlighten me on how this is meant to be). Another crucial point is getting biology authors and editors involved (currently 210 and 34, respectively - which is well enough to generate some concerted activity). I am still mainly offline and busy with the kid, but plan to get back here regularly (roughly twice a week) on this from now on. -- Daniel Mietchen 23:07, 30 July 2008 (CDT)

Wake up! Time to party!

[Banging outside Supten's chamber door with wooden spoon on pot.]

Up you get and head over to the party room! Aleta Curry 22:21, 5 August 2008 (CDT)

Again with this woman bangin' on your door!

Brian P. Long wants to help with Biology Week

Supten, I could not answer Brian's questions. See http://en.citizendium.org/wiki/User_talk:Anthony.Sebastian#Endorsement_Letter. Could you help him. --Anthony.Sebastian 19:05, 12 September 2008 (CDT)

I replied. Please consider converting our blog post into a press release. I am at the summer school still and mostly offline until Sep 22 early afternoon (CEST). -- Daniel Mietchen 03:40, 13 September 2008 (CDT)
