Robert Gendler's reply giving me permission to use his images

Hi Dave, Yes I would certainly be willing to contribute my images to the online encyclopedia Citizendium. I also have many short articles on various astronomical objects including an introductory article on astronomy that you may use. See http://www.robgendlerastropics.com/textcontent.html

Wow I just browsed quickly through the encyclopedia and its quite impressive and inclusive. Thanks for asking.

My request for permission to use images

Hello Robert. I am an author and editor for the online encyclopedia Citizendium (CZ). It was started by Langer Sanger, who was one of the founders of Wikipedia. The main difference between Wikipedia and CZ is that CZ requires real identities and articles are approved by specialist editors in each field, so it is more professional than Wikipedia in many ways, although the project is still at an early stage.

In any event, I was looking for images to use on the CZ, and was wondering if any of your beutiful images might be available for such use (with attributions)? Also, we are always looking for new authors and editors to add contributions to the encyclopedia. If you would like to find out more about CZ, look here: http://en.citizendium.org/wiki/Main_Page. I am a chemistry and biology editor, with my user page at http://en.citizendium.org/wiki/User:David_E._Volk.

Thanks,

dave
