The Nucleic acid amplification technique (NAAT) are a group of "laboratory techniques that involve the in-vitro synthesis of many copies of DNA or RNA from one original template."[1]
Methods include:
- Ligase chain reaction
- Multiple displacement amplification
- Polymerase chain reaction
- Transcription-mediated amplification
